Cape Aloe is native to South Africa and is very tolerant to heat and drought. Succulent evergreen plant makes a stunning ornamental and is used for internal and external medicinal uses similar to its relative Aloe vera. Can grow 3 to 5 feet wide and has beautiful red-orange flowers on tall flower stalks. Hardy zones 9-11, but can also be grown as a very ornamental container plant in colder climates. We send 1 dicision that is easy to root in well drained potting soil.
