A beautiful striking purple/black foliage elderberry. The leaves are very deeply cut, similar to Emerald Lace elderberry. Heavily productive of good quality black berries. Color is darkest in a sunny location and it prefers a fair amount of moisture. A bushy shrub growing to about 6 to 8' tall and wide. Hardy zones 4-8.
