Medium small round yellow-green fruit is very juicy, sweet, with richly aromatic flavor. Discovered in 1699 and has been considered the standard for flavor in plums ever since. Said to be a hybrid of Prunus domestica and P. insititia that originated in Iran and is very popular in England, France and the US today. Hardy zones 5-8.
